Greetings
I Design for Human Centered Technology. This means that Technology is not my specialty but rather the Human Beings who use technology are what I focus on. Regardless of what subset of technological language or hardware is employed in a given project, be it Film Making, Theater, Web/Graphics, Art Objects, Installation Art, etc. the End User Experience is most important. Likewise when working on a project, the relationships with anyone involved in making it happen, from the client, to the co workers, I place an emphasis on clarity and fluid collaboration. When we listen clearly and deeply to the needs of those we Design for as well as those we Design with, we achieve the goal of technology, To live more efficiently so that we can learn more effectively and become more available for ourselves and those we share the world with.
My life experience and training as an artist and my graduate studies at the Interactive Telecommunications Program, Tisch School of the Arts, NYU, have provided me with a diverse skill set encompassing in some way almost every conceivable aspect of project design. From conceptual brainstorming, leadership/coordination and writing, to technical execution, problem solving, revision/re-design, and finally presentation.
Adopting an ego less agenda, I am comfortable following a well designed pre existing plan, working towards specifications to help others realize their vision, as well as stepping in to offer suggestions for alternatives when the need arises. I see Design as a challenge to communicate the best of my self with the world.
