Someone said this is how it works

the mythology of enlightenment distorts the truth
cause were thinking its a place were traveling to
not recognizing its the space were traveling through
pathological futures in trade(stocks)
in transit
my ideas - all my ideas
are brittle maps
ive got so many
ive got allot of maps to nowhere
theres nowhere i haven’t mapped out
that i know of
each idea is a reference of a fragment
of a thing i think i want to hold but dont know how
because i dont trust the ideas
and they dont trust me

to let go when the time is right
to let the program end

each one wants to be the star
each one thinks it alone can get the job done
each one, so obsessed with it self,

the best of them is surrender
but thats the one i fear the most

if i don’t take control who will
someone has to be in control
don’t they?

who’s the captain of this ship?

some say the mind - some say the heart
everyone thinks they know best

i say surrender, i say submit
surrender your possessions (spirits)
submit your work (judges & jury’s)
but who is qualified to receive me
if all they know is pass/fail

Training in knowing
what to accept and what to reject
discipline claims
 Allot

others will try to make you submit
if you dont do it first

thats not enough
its either stand up or shut up
im struggling cause your struggling cause im struggling cause

but whatever you do
just dont kill

flush the system
turn up the juice
give me a shock
break my shell

I need a solvent to melt the crust away
so my eyes can see clearly

there is no danger
that rope is not a snake
i am not afraid

Ive got to breathe in the pain

so my head doesn’t leave the room

breathe with the pain

this is uncomfortable
this is not a comforting feeling
if all Im in touch with is my resistance to change
all my contact points are corroded with acid and rust
so the sounds my current makes are filled with crackles and pops

and the crust comes off

this is the sound of resistance.

there is an endless glass grid
go
each square reflective
stop
each side shinny
there is light above
darkness below
each square panel hinged from its head to its toe
the whole thing is spinning on axis
the individual panels turn away from the light when they are hot
turn towards it when they are cold
hot cold
hot cold
this metaphor is all flat
just disembodied space.
a source of light
and flicker creating the illusion of forms.
