| In the Summer of 2007 I traveled with the wine import company Vignaioli Selection and seven NYC Sommeliers on a ten day vintage tour of Italian wine country. I was responsible for documenting the trip in video and sound, thus providing web video for Vignaioli and a potential PBS Documentary on Italian Wine. |
In ten days we traveled to over twenty vineyards representing all the major wine producing regions of Italy. At each vineyard we averaged about three to four location setups, interviewing the producers about their methodology and philosophy of wine making. The connecting thread of all these producers was their commitment to organic and sustainable farming. During the trip
I shot over fifty hours of video, witnessed breathtaking countryside, and drank allot of really really good wine. Much appreciation goes to Dino Tantawi for providing me with this amazing experience. |
